Using lead glazing as an example, I would like to present my design process here.
Many of these steps involve numerous working days, a lot of craftsmanship and passion to create such a glass art project.
Design process
From sketches to plans
After an initial analysis of the room situation and the framework conditions set by the architectural office/client, my first design ideas are developed by me as an artist for the respective situation in the architecture with a suitable artistic concept.
The glass designs are discussed and refined in an exchange with clients and architects.
Implementation
The production process
Once the design process has been completed, a material sampling of the glass colors, glass types and glass technology / production technology is carried out. Implementation of the design can then begin. Implementation of the design can then begin.
The process for producing lead glazing:
Template creation, glass cutting, e.g. of genuine antique glass, including grinding of sharp edges. The marking of all details that are to be worked out later, glass finishing (working out details e.g. with glass painting, glass etching, glass engraving, glass lamination, glass bonding or screen printing on glass), lead, soldering, cementing the glazing and the application of tap wrenches.

The video is providing an insight into my artistic work.
It shows in chronological order which work steps are necessary to see the final result.
